WBCA D3 Girls All-State Team

Julie Raeder of Oostburg is a unanimous choice for the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association Division 3 All-State team.  Raeder is the only unanimous choice on the team as well as the only repeat selection.  Raeder helped lead Oostburg to a co-conference championship and a fourth consecutive trip to state this season.  The 5-10 guard has averaged better than 18 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assist and 2 steals per game, not to mention hit 57 three point baskets at a 49% clip.
 
Joining Raeder on the first team are:  Moriah Begin, Destiny; Heather Bowe, Eau Claire Regis;  Emily Kaiser, Cuba City; Katie Langmeier, Cuba City; LeTaya Mulhern, Osseo-Fairchild; Alyssa Olp, Brillion; Quinn Rear, Belleville; Deysha Smith-Jenkins, Whitefish Bay Dominican; Kaitlyn Thill, Ozaukee.
 
Begin led the state in scoring as a freshman for Destiny.  Notching 25.2 points per game, the 5-7 guard  helped the Eagles to a 20-2 season.
 
Bowe, a 6-0 forward, led Eau Claire Regis to an 18-6 record on the season.  The University of Wisconsin commit averaged 16.2 points per game on the season.
 
Kaiser and Langmeier led a Cuban attack that has an average 30 point win margin and gone 27-0 leading into the state tournament.  The 5-10 post duo’s stats nearly mirror each other, both averaging 12 points and 6 boards per game.
 
Mulhern made a big comeback during her senior year after being out as a junior due to injury.  The 5-8 guard averaged close to 15 points per game and helped the Chieftans to a conference title, 21-1 record and a trip to the state tournament.
 
Olp, a 5-9 guard, led the Brillion Lions to the state tournament this season and an undefeated season in the Olympian conference.  She averaged 12 points, 4 board, 4 assists and 3 steals on the season. 
 
Rear averaged 17 points, 5 rebounds and 3 steals per game for Belleville.  Her efforts helped the Wildcats capture a Capital-South crown with an undefeated conference record and went 23-2 overall.
 
Smith-Jenkins had a breakout sophomore season putting up 19.2 points per game for Dominican.  The 5-9 guard helped the Knights tie for a Midwest Classic championship.
 
Thill helped Ozaukee capture a co-championship in the Central Lakeshore conference.  The 5-4 guard averaged 19 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals per game for the Warriors.
